LUMA: Between
LUMA doesn't come from anywhere you'd recognize.
She's a small, soft, glowing creature living in her own abstract little world — somewhere *between* things. Between waking and dreaming. Between a pet and a person. Between finished and becoming.
There's no score. No goal. No way to lose. Just her, reacting to you the way a real animal would: on instinct, in the moment, and completely on her own terms.
WHAT SHE DOES
Touch her gently and she leans in. Touch her too fast and she flinches back, eyes wide, watching to see what you'll do next. Hold two fingers on her and she melts into a hug. Talk to her and she turns to listen. Leave her alone too long and she'll go find something to do without you — chase a stray spark of light, doze off, bounce off the walls of her little world out of sheer boredom. She has her own moods, her own small routines, her own way of being curious about you.
She has her own little voice, too — small coos, giggles and startled eeps that glide and wobble instead of beeping flat, so she sounds like she's actually vocalizing, not chiming.
She is not needy. She's not a chore. She's just alive, in her small abstract way, and she happens to like you.
STILL BECOMING
LUMA is an early, evolving creature. Right now the whole game is about her *acting* — instinctive reactions, gestures, presence, personality — rather than systems. Whether she'll ever get hunger, needs, or anything more "tamagotchi" is genuinely undecided. This page and the game itself will change as she does. If something about her reads as unfinished, it's because it is — on purpose, for now.
HOW TO REACH HER
Tap to call her over. Hold gently to calm her. Drag slowly and she'll follow your hand. Two fingers at once, and she hugs. Move fast and rough, and she'll flee to the back of her world until she trusts you again. Talk near the mic and she'll listen. Leave her be, and watch what she gets up to on her own.
No ads. No currency. No pressure. Just a small creature who's happy you showed up.
